Oppose SB 423, Keep ICE out of Indiana Campuses
To all Indiana resident
Indiana SB 423 will make it illegal in the state of Indiana for any public college/university, who receives state and federal funding, to be a sanctuary campus. The bill sets it in stone that colleges/universities will need to comply with Immigration and Customs Enforcement and all federal law enforcements if they ask for student information. We need to keep ICE off our college campuses in Indiana.
SB 423 was was recently amended to exclude DACA recipients from the repercussions of the bill's feature, but that could change if the Trump administration rescinds DACA. Read the full bill SB 423.
