On June 27, 2019, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5-4 that the issue of gerrymandering is beyond the scope of the federal courts. The Wisconsin State AFL-CIO takes Chief Justice Roberts’ decision as a call to action and is calling on the Wisconsin State Legislature to pass non-partisan redistricting reform before the 2021 redistricting process begins.
