Please Sign A.10454 into Law

A.10454  allows for individuals who hold board certification from the BACB, to apply for licensure in New York with no additional requirements. The 33 other states that license behavior analysts follow this structure. This legislation will also allow recent graduates, who need time to accrue the required supervision in order to sit for the BACB exam, the ability to be supervised by a BCBA/LBA without needing to wait for a limited permit. Overall, this legislation allows for mobility of licensure, prevents future regression of the profession, and protects the practice of behavior analysis in New York.
