Senate Bill 225 would make it more difficult to challenge a permit for the use of surface water in Texas. Those worried that a permit would impact their water supplies would have less opportunity to make their cases. The bill would limit when an affected party can enter the hearing process and would force the process to be less robust.This isn't in the public interest.
