The British government's campaign of repression against people peacefully expressing dissent at the ban on direct action group Palestine Action is the most sweeping assault on civil rights for a generation. It comes after two years of tightening restrictions by the police on the right to protest, including serious charges leveled at the organisers of the national demonstrations for Palestine.
