Stop Trump’s Gutting of Mercury Standards

Donald Trump and his administration are trying to gut Obama-era regulations aimed at curbing toxic mercury emissions from coal-burning power plants. Trump wants to drag our nation back into the Dark Ages where polluters poisoned our water and air. Our planet can’t afford to come back from that. We say enough is enough.

By law, Trump has to take public comments for 60 days -- ending April 17. Send a message to the EPA today to rebuke the latest horrifying move from the Trump administration.

The Mercury and Air Toxic Standards (commonly known as MATS) are commonsense protections to ensure the most vulnerable among us, including infants and pregnant mothers, don’t get poisoned by a potent neurotoxin, a side effect of burning coal.

We now have a window through April 8th to make our opposition to their reckless plan known. Climate Hawks’ squawking is critical to stopping Trump and his cronies.

Make your voice heard today to stop Trump and Wheeler in their tracks before they push the EPA off a cliff for good.

We've kept our draft comment short to give you more room to add in your own words. Your own words make the comment more powerful and will carry more weight with the people who read the comments.
