Repeal M-CORES (Toll Roads to Nowhere) and re-invest in COVID-19 relief

M-CORES also known as the toll-roads-to-nowhere project passed as SB-7068. We are encouraging all to urge Florida legislators to repeal M-CORES. Cutting M-CORES funding will save the state more than $100 million this year alone, and up to $26.4 billion in the long-term.

A short video on this issue was compiled by League of Women Voters Broward County, Broward for Progress, River of Grass Unitarian Universalist Congregation, 350.org, ReThink Energy Florida, Broward Chapter and Climate Reality Project, Boca Raton Chapter. It was presented to the Broward County legislative delegation on January 6, 2021 to ask the delegation to advocate for the repeal of M-CORES. Click here to view: https://youtu.be/jqtDRla9VyM
