MSOE is the owner of a building that houses ICE operations and is profiting off of these operations to the tune of over 2 million dollars a year in rent. MSOE is committing to this injustice by building a new academic building instead of renovating the ICE building. MSOE has not released a statement regarding the ownership of that building. We demand that MSOE refuse to renew the lease on the building and release a public statement affirming support for the immigrant community, and denouncing ICE operations.
