Take action now to protect equity in Palm Beach County Schools.

The School Board has rolled back key Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies—undermining decades of progress for students, families, and small businesses. These changes weaken fairness, opportunity, and the support systems that help every student thrive.

What’s changed:

• Policy 3.05 (Equal Employment Opportunity): Removed language about recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce.

• Policies 1.04 & 5.015: Eliminated the Majority-to-Minority transfer rule—a vital tool for advancing student equity.

• Policies 6.142 & 6.143: Ended programs that supported women- and minority-owned businesses in district contracting.

Palm Beach County’s strength is its diversity. But by eliminating DEI policies, the School Board is sending the wrong message to the communities it serves.
