This is a nation ruled by laws, not by the whims of leaders.

According to several reports, President Trump was intent on firing Special Counsel Robert Mueller last June. After several indictments of Trump associates and the FBI raid on Trump’s lawyer, we have concerns that Trump will fire Mueller, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and / or Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein to frustrate the investigation into alleged criminal wrongdoing. This would violate our standards and provoke a constitutional crisis.

Tell your Senators and Representative to speak out against any firing of investigators, and urge them to cosponsor legislation such as the Special Counsel Independence and Integrity Act to prevent Trump and his administration from taking any action to obstruct justice or circumvent to the rule of law.  The integrity and legitimacy of our nation relies on the Congress taking strong action now.
