Enbridge has not acted in good faith with the citizens of Michigan, nor have they been respectful of our fresh water. The present tunnel lying on the bed of Lake Michigan is over 70 years old and well past the safety limit. A spill in the Straits would be an incredible danger to private property, human health, our ecosystem and tourism throughout the state of MI. So much so that the State of Michigan recently worked with the USCG and other agencies, to establish a permanent "oil/gas response team" at LSSU in Sault Ste. Marie. Enbridge is a foreign nation utilizing our fresh water, for their profit.  Michigan benefits minimally from Enbridge and yet takes all of this risk. Say NO to the tunnel permit.
