Say NO to SNAP Cuts

Stand together! Our nation's first line of defense—SNAP—faces a threat that would limit the program's ability to serve families during hard economic times. The extra help with buying groceries lifts 118,000 Oregonians out of poverty, including 54,000 children. Kids who live in low-income families are more likely to graduate high school if they participate in SNAP and it shields against chronic diseases like diabetes.
