Sen. Dick Durbin has introduced a bill that purports to “combat child marriage in the U.S.” but in fact would contradict, undermine and obstruct the U.S. and global promise to end child marriage by year 2030 — and our hard work to keep that promise. Please urge Sen. Durbin to amend the bill, because girls around the world deserve better.
