Senators must say NO more funding for Trump’s mass detention and deportations

In May the House of Representatives voted to pass a budget reconciliation bill that allocates a staggering $150 billion dollars for immigration enforcement, including $45 billion for immigration detention -- that is 13 times Immigration and Custom's Enforcement (ICE) current annual budget for detention. The same bill cuts funding for programs and services that support everyone’s needs, like medicaid, food assistance and more. But it's not a done deal - the bill now moves on to the Senate and we need you to take action today!

Write your Senators and to tell them to VOTE NO on the reconciliation bill and reject any additional funding for the abusive ICE detention system.

Reconciliation is a budget process that makes it easier for the party in power to drastically change how the government spends its money. On the line is billions of dollars that could go towards immigration enforcement that separates families, disrupts communities’ entire social and economic infrastructure, and commits countless human rights abuses instead of vital programs like food stamps, medicaid and student loans.

Join us in urging your representatives to block the administration’s devastating attacks on immigrants by rejecting funding for enforcement, detention, and deportation throughout this year’s reconciliation and appropriations processes.
