Send a letter: Senate must act on common sense-gun safety reform
In the wake of the terrible tragedy in Orlando, forty U.S. Senators held a 14+ hour talking filibuster--holding up all other action in the chamber--to demand that the Senate pass common-sense gun regulation.
The amazing part? It worked. We are getting a vote on Monday, June 20!
The Senate will vote Monday on two key pieces of legislation stalled by the Republican leadership--universal background checks, and prevent those on the no-fly list to obtain weapons.
Your senator must hear from you now. Please send them a letter, urging that they vote yes on these two key gun safety measures.
