SEND A LETTER TO KEY LEGISLATORS NOW: TELL THEM TO OPPOSE NEW JERSEY A-1747 TO PROTECT PATIENTS & HEALTH EQUITY

In an upcoming Committee hearing, New Jersey lawmakers, including your Assemblyperson, are exploring legislative proposals to lower prescription drug costs and out-of-pocket Patient costs – but any policy that does not positively impact Patient affordability is not the answer! One example, New Jersey legislation A-1747, would create a government-appointed Prescription Drug Affordability Board, which would have the authority to determine drug price and value without taking Patient preferences and health needs into account.

New Jersey A-1747 would threaten access, health equity, and the very innovations that so many Patients here and beyond our State borders rely on WITHOUT actually lowering out-of-pocket costs at the pharmacy counter. Send a letter to your Assemblyperson and other members of the Health Committee now: Tell them to oppose A-1747 before the bill can advance any further.
