The federal government shutdown has ended for now, and funding for the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) has been renewed for the next six years.

But don't let Republicans get away with claiming they restored health care for children, because it's simply not true.

The Community Health Center Fund—which accounts for 70% of the funding for 2,800 community health centers that provide primary healthcare to 27 million Americans—has also seen its funding lapse. The continuing resolution that ended the shutdown did not restore funding to the Community Health Center Fund. Republicans are still holding it hostage.

Sign and send the petition to your Republican U.S. senator(s): Stop holding the Community Health Center Fund hostage. Renew full, long-term funding now.
