The U of A’s academic staff are at the heart of the teaching and research that make the university great.
But massive provincial cuts put that at risk and leadership at the U of A isn’t investing on frontline learning.
That means:
- Top researchers are leaving
- More than 50% of classes at the university are taught by contract instructors without secure jobs, and
- Students are paying more every year in tuition.
To recruit and retain the teachers and researchers that make our university great, they need stable jobs and competitive wages.
