200 of us dealers and dual rates at Horseshoe Casino were set to join Teamsters Local 135 on Friday, October 17. The government shutdown delayed our election indefinitely, so we proposed using a neutral third party to hold the vote as planned.

Horseshoe’s management refused, leaving us with no choice but to strike for union recognition. We have been on the picket line since then.

We are asking you, players and customers, to stand with us. When you see a picket line in the coming days, we respectfully ask that you not cross the line and boycott Horseshoe Indianapolis until they recognize our union.
