Support AB 1111 To Allow Small Cannabis Farmers to Sell Directly to Consumers
Existing law prevents small cannabis producers from selling cannabis products they cultivate directly to consumers.
This bill would require the Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) to issue small producer event sales licenses, authorizing license holders to sell cannabis or cannabis products at a specified number of temporary events permitted by local governments.
Pioneers who fought for decades to establish the legendary medical cannabis movement of California should have an equal opportunity to participate within a viable regulated industry, and patients and consumers in California should have safe, affordable access to fresh, high quality craft cannabis products and medicines.
