As parents, educators and community members, we believe all Nashville students deserve to have equitable access to excellent public schools. It is critical that the Metropolitan Board of Public Education supports our schools and provides the resources necessary for student success.

We support the adoption of independent standards for accountability and transparency of all schools operating in Nashville’s public school system. We believe the standards outlined by the Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University should be adopted by the Metropolitan Board of Public Education to protect students and taxpayers.
