The San Francisco Democratic Party will be hearing two resolutions on 10/22 regarding the Family Zoning Plan ("FZP").

One from Chair Nancy Tung and Member Mike Chen calls for the party to support the FZP, and a competing resolution from Members Gordon Mar and John Avalos calls to reject the FZP unless amended. As is typical, the resolution opposing falsely claims that plans to build more homes will worsen our housing shortage under the banner of saying that it will only incentivize "luxury" development. The resolution in support rightly notes that we are actually at risk of losing affordable housing and transportation funding by not passing a compliant plan in addition to falling even further behind in our housing shortage.

Send a quick letter to support Chair Tung and Member Chen's resolution and also call for the opposition to Member Mar and Avalos's cynical non-solution of doing nothing.
