Currently, Republicans in the Senate are considering changes to the tax code that would significantly impact IBEW members' healthcare plans. These changes would not only wreck IBEW health care plans but also destroy the healthcare of the approximately 170 million Americans who get their coverage through their employer. If the proposals Senate Republicans are debating right now were to become law, it would result in more out-of-pocket expenses, fewer benefits, and worse health care outcomes for IBEW members and their families.
