Support more housing in Pasadena

130-140 N Fair Oaks Ave is a proposed mixed-use project in Pasadena with 38 new homes, including 8 affordable units, along with much-needed ground-floor commercial space. The residential vacancy rate of the City of Pasadena in 2025 currently stands at 3.7%. Pasadena ties with San Francisco as the 2nd-hardest spot to find a rental in the country, behind NYC (at 3.2%).

That's why projects like this mixed-use development are so important!

  • 🚶‍♀️ Walkable & 🚇 transit-oriented
  • ♻️ Adaptive reuse of a historic building
  • 🏘️ Human-scaled density that contributes to the neighborhood
The Pasadena Design Commission will meet on March 25 and faces a critical opportunity to approve a project that aligns with the city’s goals of promoting housing, affordability, and economic vitality. This project has undergone environmental review and has staff support — there is no reason to delay or block this much-needed housing.

Write to the Pasadena Design Commission to express support for this project!
