The Housing Action Coalition are pleased to endorse the 1st and B project in San Mateo.

42,000 sq ft commercial office and ground floor retail project will provide $1.2 million in linkage fees for affordable housing in tandem with its partnering development Bespoke which will provide 100% affordable housing in San Mateo. Bespoke will transform an underutilized site into a mixed-use development with 71 100% affordable new homes, office and retail space, and a dedicated space for Self-Help for the Elderly.

The project team has worked with the City and the Community to build a project that will help foster a more vibrant, communal, and transit-oriented neighborhood.
