Support the Minnesota Political Contribution Refund

On Friday, March 21, Gov. Tim Walz revised his two-year budget plan to make additional cuts. This includes a total elimination of the popular, bipartisan Minnesota Political Contribution Refund program. In Minnesota, we have public funding of campaigns, and the bipartisan Minnesota Political Contribution Refund program allows candidates for Minnesota House and Minnesota Senate to help Minnesotans get refunded up to $75 for individuals and $150 for married couples.

In 2025, over 92 percent of Minneapolis DFL individual contributors qualify for 100 percent of their contributions to be refunded at the $75 individual level. Please write a letter of support for the PCR and share your story of how you have given to legislative candidates and party units in Minnesota. Share why you support this grassroots, bipartisan, popular refund program.

Thank you, and reach out to team@minneapolisdfl.org if you have any question.
