Join the fight to protect the Arctic! In solidarity with the Sovereign Iñupiat for a Living Arctic (SILA),  submit a public comment to the Bureau of Land Management BLM to stop the Master Willow Development Plan Willow MPD!

Right now, the BLM is preparing to accept public comments on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Willow MDP. Since this is a federal review process, Biden has authority to stop the project. Everyone’s voice matters.

MASSIVE PROJECT: The remote project location would necessitate huge investments in new fossil fuel infrastructure. As proposed, the Willow project would include up to five drill pads with up to fifty wells on each pad, an extensive permanent gravel road system that will connect back to existing industrial infrastructure, hundreds of miles of pipelines and water-intensive ice roads, 1-2 airstrips, and a new Central Processing Facility that will catalyze more oil projects and significant additional unnecessary carbon pollution.
