Tobacco kills more than 8 million people a year.

Yet one of the Tobacco industry's longstanding and favorite tactics is manipulating its way into scientific journals and other publications that are supposed to improve public health.

That's why we're calling on the American Public Health Association (APHA) to join with the World Federation of Public Health Associations and leading public health organizations in the United States and around the world to reject any engagement or collaboration with the tobacco industry or organizations funded by the tobacco industry.
