Tell Congress Healthcare for People

Healthcare is a Right, Not a Privilege
Cutting funding for Medicaid and other critical healthcare services will result in devastating consequences. According to the Congressional Budget Office, proposed cuts could lead to 8.6 million people losing their health coverage. This isn’t just a statistic—it represents children, working families, seniors, and vulnerable individuals who rely on Medicaid for their health and survival.
The Human Cost of Budget Cuts
If Congress reduces Medicaid funding:
- Families will lose access to essential medical care.
 - Hospitals, especially in rural areas, will face closure.
 - Communities will suffer economically due to job losses in healthcare sectors.

Half of Americans know someone who has relied on Medicaid—this is not an abstract issue; it’s personal to millions.
Opposing Billionaire Tax Breaks
While healthcare programs face cuts, the proposed tax legislation overwhelmingly benefits the wealthiest 1%. The Joint Committee on Taxation reports that the top-earning households will receive $384.6 billion in tax reductions, compared to a mere $3.6 billion for the lowest-earning Americans. This stark inequality diverts resources from vital services to the ultra-rich, exacerbating economic disparities.
Our Demands:
- Protect and expand Medicaid and healthcare access for all Americans.
 - Reject tax policies that prioritize the wealthiest over working families.
 - Invest in communities, not corporate giveaways and billionaire tax shelters.
