At their meeting on April 7th, the California Public Utilities Commission(CPUC) will vote on whether or not to approve a new 260-MW gas power plant for SoCal Edison in Oxnard--a city that is already overburdened with industrial pollution. California is transitioning to a clean energy future, and we can't afford to lock ourselves into 40 plus more years of natural gas generation.
