Tell Governor Mike DeWine to take action to prevent deaths like Corrections Officer Andrew Lansing's.
Ross Correctional Institution Corrections Officer Andrew Lansing reported to work on Christmas Day.
He never came home.
Andrew was murdered by an inmate and his death could have been prevented.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) and Gov. Mike DeWine have been unable or unwilling to address chronic staffing shortages that force corrections officers and staff to work long hours.
These conditions led to Andrew's death.
Never again.
Send an email to Governor Mike DeWine and demand he take the necessary steps to improve working conditions so that something like what happened to Andrew never happens again.
