Tell Mayor de Blasio: Stop giving charter schools access to students' private contact information

In order to help the charter school industry expand, former Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his schools chancellor, Joel Klein, initiated a practice of making the private contact information of New York City public school students available for charter schools to market their schools directly to public school families.

The time is long past for the DOE to stop divulging this confidential contact information and giving a leg up to charter school chains that are growing at the expense of our traditional public schools.

Send a letter to Mayor Bill de Blasio telling him to end this invasive practice.
