Tell Mayor Todd Gloria to allocate necessary funding for the the 5-12 Year Old Playground and fitness area at Officer Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park!

Mid-City CAN (Community Advocacy Network) Youth Council and residents of City Heights request that Mayor Todd Gloria allocate $1.5M dollars from the FY26 budget to Revitalize Officer Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park in City Heights.

The City Heights Community Rec Group recently approved the designs of two new playgrounds and a fitness area. However, the project still needs additional funding to ensure the construction of the 5-12 year old playground.

By investing in Officer Jeremy Henwood Memorial Park, we can create a flourishing environment where children can explore, learn, and make lasting memories, while fostering a stronger, more connected community. Join us in ensuring that every child has access to safe and stimulating play by supporting this vital funding initiative!
