Tell our lawmakers: Care, climate, and citizenship must be in the federal budget package

Congress is working to pass a $3.5 trillion dollar budget package before the end of the year. This package could be a transformative investment in our communities that helps us not only rebuild from the COVID-19 pandemic, but build a more equitable foundation for the future. But only if Congress chooses to prioritize policies that help our communities.

As our lawmakers negotiate the details of what gets included in this package this summer and fall, we’re sending a message to our members of congress that anything that passes must include investments in our caregiving economy, green infrastructure to fight climate change, and citizenship for immigrant essential workers.
