Tell Governor Kasich: Don't send public transit off the cliff

Due to changes in the state sales tax base, Ohio's local transit agencies could lose millions of dollars.

Governor Kasich proposed short-term transitional aid, but after 2019, local transit revenue falls off cliff. State legislators sent the Governor a budget that included an approach to fill the $40 million a year hole transit agencies face due to changes to the state’s sales tax base.

Use this tool to tell Governor Kasich we need a permanent fix or else transit agencies will have to make devastating cuts. Tell him not to veto the proposal made in conference committee.
