On March 27, President Trump issued an Executive Order, Exclusions from Federal Labor-Management Relations Programs, which aims to gut federal employee collective bargaining rights. More than one million federal workers will lose their constitutionally protected freedom to form and join a union if this executive order is implemented. The Protect America’s Workforce Act (H.R. 2550) would reverse the executive order and restore collective bargaining rights for these critical workers. On July 17, we launched a campaign to force a vote on the bill using a "discharge petition." We need a majority of the House to sign the discharge petition so we can pass this legislation on the House Floor.
