Tell your California lawmakers to support nuclear disarmament

*UPDATE* On August 20, the California Assembly passed AJR 33 by a vote of 53 to 16. It is now pending in the state senate. Your actions from here on out will go just to your California state senator, as the process in the Assembly has come to a favorable close.

California Assemblymember Monique Limón has introduced Assembly Joint Resolution 33 (AJR 33), which calls on our federal leaders and our nation to make nuclear disarmament the centerpiece of national security policy by embracing the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

It’s not surprising that California has taken the lead on this far-reaching issue. That ’s what we do in California. We make a difference on issues like environmental protections, marriage equality, and food standards, to name just a few. So let’s make nuclear disarmament the next issue on that important list.

Let your California state senator know that you support AJR 33, and that you want them to say "YES" when the bill comes up for a vote.
