WHAT'S HAPPENING: The Joint Education Committee of the legislature is holding a hearing on Friday on the public education funding bills currently filed.  Only one of those bills, the PROMISE Act, represents the full funding recommended by the Foundation Budget Review Commission, which had full support of the Massachusetts Senate last year.  

WHAT YOU CAN DO: Help us move the PROMISE Act bill out of committee by contacting your legislators.  Please click the letter -- personalize with your own message to underscore why you believe every child in Massachusetts deserves to have access to quality public education.
