Tell Your Senator to Vote NO on Tax Reform!

Last week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced that the tax reform bill in the Senate would include a repeal of the individual mandate of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). According to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), repealing the individual mandate would result

in 13 million Americans losing health insurance.

Additionally, the bill would have a crushing impact on women, LGBTQ individuals, working and middle class families, it increases the cost of an education, and does absolutely nothing to support average Americans.

The House version of the bill, which does not include a repeal of the individual mandate, passed on last week. The Senate is expected to vote on their tax bill as early as November 27, and it requires only 50 votes to pass, with Vice President Mike Pence breaking the tie if necessary.
