Tell Your State Senator to Support a Committee on Racial Profiling!

We are contacting members of the South Carolina Senate to ask for their support for S.0095, a bill to create a study committee on racial profiling.

In South Carolina, only 24.6% of constituents are Black - but 47% of people shot by law enforcement officers from 2014-2017 were Black. This in and of itself is concerning, and I believe that our state needs to reevaluate our law enforcement’s policies, practices, and procedures in relation to racial profiling.

We need to create a justice system that is more equitable for everyone, and S.0095 will allow for a more fair South Carolina for all constituents.
