The Polls Are In: Virginians want a Better Juvenile Justice System for Youth

Hello,

Two recent polls of Virginians, one by Virginia Commonwealth University and another poll commissioned by the national Youth First! Initiative found that an overwhelming majority of Virginians polled believe the Commonwealth needs a better juvenile justice system in place. A system that rehabilitates youth in small, therapeutic placements, that keep youth closer to their families and support networks.

Send a letter today to the Senate Finance Committee and House Appropriations Committee telling members to introduce budget bills that reflect the juvenile justice system Virginians want moving forward.

Our children, our families, and our communities deserve better than the status quo justice system.

Sincerely,

Jeree Thomas, RISE for Youth
