UC Chancellors: We Demand a Fair Salary Scale and Raises for AO2s!

Administrative Officer 2s (AO2s) are critical members of the University of California's administrative team who have done essential work throughout the pandemic to keep the UC running. However, their salaries don't come close to reflecting the work they put in every day.
97% of AO2s make less than the median for similar public sector positions in their areas. Astonishingly, 83% earn less than the median of the University's own scale for AO2 salaries! This is despite years of dedicated service by more than a thousand AO2s across the UC system.
Since joining Teamsters Local 2010 in September 2020, AO2s have been fighting for a fair pay scale and equitable raises for AO2s. Bargaining is already underway. Help AO2s win the pay they deserve by a sending a letter to UC leadership now!
