Trans kids, specifically trans girls and women are viciously targeted in what we can only describe as violent transmisogyny and blatant hate disguised as disingenuous concern for the safety of cis women and girls.

S.9 and H.R. 28 specifically targets trans girls and women by banning federal funding to any sports facilitators and programs that include transgender girls or women in girls or women’s sports.

Sports Are For Everyone! This bill further opens the door for invasive gender policing that disproportionately affects cisgender Black, Brown, trans, and intersex athletes.

This is not about “protecting” women—it’s about controlling them. Women’s sports need funding, equal pay, and protections against sexual abuse, not policies that exclude, cut funding, and harm trans athletes.
