Help us get the $575 humanitarian parole fee waived for at-risk Afghans

Humanitarian parole application fees are $575 per person.

We demand that the Biden Administration waive the fee. We urgently need you to plead to our elected policymakers that this fee is cost-prohibitive for vulnerable Afghans who are hiding in safe houses and on the run from Taliban repression and reprisals

What's humanitarian parole? Why should I care?

It's a pathway for entry to the United States for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit. It is usually granted when someone has no other alternatives for entry and is typically the last option, which is the case for many Afghans who are currently seeking refuge from Taliban rule.

We need your help advocating for these at-risk and vulnerable Afghans, most of whom cannot afford this cost-prohibitive fee. For a family of 5, for example, this adds up to $2875.
