The Republican members of the Joint Finance Committee voted along party lines today to kill $1.4 billion additional revenue for schools, roads and healthcare through Medicaid expansion. On top of that, they struck down a host of measures that would have increased special education funding, improved teacher quality and hold private voucher schools accountable. Please take action now to let the legislators who voted against their neighborhood public schools know educators and families expect more from our elected officials.
