San Francisco is at a crossroads: without new, fair, and reliable
funding, Muni will face deep service cuts that hurt riders, workers,
small businesses, and our city’s recovery. The The Muni Now Muni Forever
campaign is fighting for a fair parcel tax that delivers the funding we need to keep Muni thriving.
We need thousands of San Franciscans to speak up today to tell our elected officials that any tax to fund Muni must be structured fairly if we want it to pass at the ballot next year. Please take a moment to send a letter to the Mayor and Board of Supervisors urging them not to pass excessive costs onto rent-stabilized tenants, which could fracture support for the measure and leave about 15% of Muni service unfunded.
