Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) introduced the Equal Access to Abortion Coverage in Health Insurance (EACH Woman) Act of 2019 (H.R. 1692) which would guarantee affordable abortion access and care in all government and private health insurance plans.

Access to abortion is essential to ensuring a person’s right to bodily autonomy — the nearly 30 bans on abortion that have been introduced, passed, or signed into law in statehouses around the country this year alone is extremely alarming. Protecting reproductive justice needs to be prioritized.  

There are currently 126 co-sponsors to this bill — which is a good start, but with your help, this bill should and can have the support to pass the U.S. House of Representatives.

Write to your representative today and encourage them to become co-sponsors of the EACH Woman Act of 2019.
