"description": ""How to Form a Union 101." Part One is Friday, Apr 22nd from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Rabble-Rouser. Part Two is Saturday, Apr 23rd from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Rabble-Rouser. Coffee & treats will be available! The Vermont AFL-CIO and Rabble-Rouser (AFSCME 1369) know that workers build power when we unionize more shops! Using the Institute for Organizing Unions' curriculum, we are partnering to teach the fundamentals of how to form a union. You will learn how to map your workplace, the stages of a campaign, form a committee, have effective conversations with coworkers, and win a majority union. The 101 training is for two-days, three hours both days. This workshop is open to all nonunion, nonmanagerial workers in Vermont. Part One of "How to Form a Union 101" will take place on Friday, April 22nd from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Rabble-Rouser Part Two of "How to Form a Union 101" will take place on Saturday, April 23rd from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Rabble-Rouser. This workshop is free, but you must register to join. We strongly encourage participants to attend both days, as different, necessary skills will be taught each day.",
