We’re fighting to include several provisions in the budget: More transparency and oversight over temp staffing agencies More transparency and oversight over healthcare facility mergers and consolidations Making the Nurse Practitioner Modernization Act permanent And we’re taking a stand against provisions in the budget that would threaten our work, including the expansion of non-hospital care models that shift work away from hospital staff and raise patient safety concerns. We’re also fighting to ensure that the NYS Legislature restores $500 million in funding cuts to make sure that financially struggling hospitals get the care that they need!",
