That is why we are urging Congress to pass President Biden’s Proposed American Jobs Plan, including it’s requirement for 100% clean electricity by 2035. We need to invest trillions of dollars into zero emission affordable housing units, replacing lead pipes, public transportation, walkable communities, electric vehicles, technological breakthroughs, a climate conservation corps, renewable electricity, and much more. The American Jobs Plan does all of this while investing the most in those who have been invested in the least. The time to act is now. On June 9th we will gather at the US Capitol to show our support for 100% clean electricity and the rest of the American Jobs Plan. This plan will clean our air, create millions of good jobs, save thousands of lives every year, create a more equitable society, reduce our contribution to climate change, and live more fully into our faith.",
